Assets can be tagged as false positives on the Asset Details window. False positive assets are removed from the asset list and aren’t scanned.
Go to the Assets catalog by clicking Assets from the menu on the left.
Select the asset you want to mark as a false positive. Click Actions from the upper right-hand corner of the screen and select Set as false positive from the drop-down menu.
Click the I’m sure, set button on the confirmation screen. This action will also mark all descendant assets (assets that have this asset as parent, if any) as false positives. All assets tagged as false positives will not be scanned for vulnerabilities and are removed from the asset list.
You can find a list of all assets previously marked as false positives by going to Management and clicking Archived Assets.
If you need to remove an asset from Archived Assets, select it and click Actions from the upper right-hand corner of the screen. Select Unset as false positive from the drop-down menu.
This action will move the asset back to the Asset catalog and scanning for it will resume.
