How to Invite Users and Define Roles

Attaxion has a role-based access control (RBAC) feature that lets team leaders invite others to join the team, either as an Admin, Editor, or Viewer.

In the menu on the left, choose Account and select Team Members.

From there, you can see the list of team members and change their roles under the Role column. This page also lets you add a team member by clicking the Invite team member button.

To invite a new team member, on the pop-up form, select the role and type the email address and name of the user you want to add. Keep in mind the following role descriptions:

  • Admin: These users can perform all actions within the platform except invite new team members, access billing details, and manage subscriptions.
  • Editor: They can perform most actions, like creating and editing assets (excluding cloud assets). However, they cannot manage Jira integrations and global scanner settings. They also cannot invite new team members, access billing details, or manage subscriptions.
  • Viewer: As the name suggests, these users can only view assets. They cannot make any changes within the application.
