The “Technologies” Tab Explained

The “Technologies” tab provides information about all detected external-facing technologies, along with their security issues found.

This tab can be accessed by clicking “Technologies” from the left menu of the app. You will see a list of technologies that Attaxion has detected across all discovered assets in your external attack surface. From this page, you can access details about each technology as well as the assets associated with it.

What Information Is Available in the “Technologies” Tab?

Attaxion detects Internet-exposed technologies, including networking utilities, databases, and servers. You will see a list of these technologies and their respective versions associated with your account in the “Technologies” tab.

For each technology, you can see if Attaxion had found any vulnerabilities in it in the “Issues” column. The page also shows the number of assets associated with the technology, its type (e.g., web server, database, proxy, etc.), and discovery method.

Since Attaxion continuously scans all detected technologies, this tab also shows when the technology was first and last detected.

What Can You Do from the “Technologies” Tab?

You can perform several actions and access additional views from the “Technologies” tab.

Clicking a specific technology takes you to its “Details” window. This window contains a description, a link to the product’s National Vulnerability Database (NVD) page, and a list of assets which use this technology.
