You can remove a root asset from Attaxion using the Management menu. All associated assets will also be removed.
The process of removing root assets is the same for all types of root assets.
In the menu on the left, go to Management and choose a root asset that you want to remove from the list. On the right, click a hamburger menu icon and select “Remove root asset” from the drop-down menu.
You will be prompted to confirm if you really want to remove this root asset.
If you click “I’m sure, remove”, the root asset will be removed, and all assets that are directly related to it will also be removed from your asset list.
You can add the same root asset back, if you want. Note, that it may take up to 48 hours for Attaxion to scan it again and for your asset and vulnerability data to reappear on the dashboards and in the relevant lists.
